From june 16th to june 18th DTU Fotonik hosted the first collective meeting for the Nordic Physics Associations.
The Danish Physics Association has taken the initiative for this meeting which - among other things - featured 9 plenar discussions in several discilplines, 89 lectures and about 70 posters.
The meeting was an overwhelming success with 240 participants from all the other nordic countries and 14 exhibits.
For the first time ever in the Danish Physics Society's history registration had to be closed due to overbooking.
Due to the success of this first meeting there will be more meetings to come. The next one in Helsinki in 2011 will follow more or less the same concept as this one.
